Wut?
Um no it is not. That is physically impossible
I understand Cal is an actual person and not a troll… but this is getting ridiculous…
A star isn't a planet, and a planet isn't a star. Get over it.
Star = Made out of Hydrogen
Planet = Made out of Rock and Asteroid's
See the problem there?
cal you are going to turn into a star soon if you don't stop asking dumb questions
Cal, stop searching for nonsense. Please, you are harming yourself with this.
Well, if Jupiter were any bigger, it would be a star. But theoretically if Earth had enough Hydrogen and enough mass, then it could become a star. But otherwise no, absolutely not. Earth cannot otherwise become a star.

I always hear this claim.
But this "any" means at least 16 times more massive.
For me "any" means 10% more mass, but not 1,600%

Yes. Add another 16 Jupiters TO Jupiter and it might become a star!
"Jupiter is a failed star" is just one of those myths that people repeat ad nauseam without ever checking the facts.
No offense, but that is really stupid to believe. A planet can't turn into a star or vice-versa. It is impossible!
