Do rough translations of ancient maya text say something about the world going black today. Is the 23rd the end of the world. Please put my fears to rest.

Your fears have already been put to rest. The sun is already in most of the world. There was nothing in the Maya text that said anything about the world going black. That's a stupid Judeo-Christian idea…

I'm an archaeologist and NO, there's no Mayan prediction about 3 days of darkness. It's the modern load of crap. Geez dude, stop looking for a stuff that disturbs you.

let me state some facts
1. it's 24 in some parts of the world
2. already 23rd in many parts about to be 24th
3. these 3 days of darkness crap was not mentioned in Maya texts it was started by some nutjob who said NASA released the statement NASA had denied it Chk their site
4. if you will be scared then you will not be satisfied even after 23 rd and look for new negative things
you can terribly affect your health

Cal, this is the FOURTH time that I know of, that you've asked this SAME question and got a LOT of answers about how it is NOT going to happen. Seriously, I don't think you're a stupid kid, which is why I'm more and more convinced that you're trolling to try and worry people who were legitimately afraid of 2012.

You're asking the same question we've debunked for you over and over about 3 days of darkness.
You're asking about the sun and moon being seen at the same time even though that's normal and you've probably seen it before cause it happens ALL THE TIME
You're saying you see a bright light that has to be a planet, can't be a plane…

It's the 23rd. It's time to either drop the joke, or if you're serious… tell your parents your worries and tell them you'd like to speak to a professional to help you feel better.

If it gets dark by you before 2pm… then come back and ask. Otherwise… look out your window. If it's not dark… you can breathe easy.
