I remember an interview from the Penn and Teller episode on 2012, a guy spoke about jumping off a cliff to save the world on 21th of December.
This was one of my favorite theories about 2012.

Does anyone know if he jumped? Or has he just been forgotten?

I do remember hearing about this guy, but I don't recall seeing on that episode about 2012 (perhaps you are referring to the other doomsday Penn & Teller episode named "End of The World"). Don't know if he jumped or not, but if he did in fact jump from a cliff, he died in vain and… well, I doubt people are going to build a statue for him anyway.

He didn't. It was a big back-pedal for him.

My brain is going through mixed feelings about this. One part of me wanted him to jump, another part of me wants me to call him a coward for not jumping, and yet another part is puzzing over the moral thing to say/do.

What would be the honorable thing for me to do?
