I've been hearing quite a bit about this "Orange Ball of Doom!!!" as well.
The problem with the "Orange Ball of Doom!" is that every time that it's sighted, someone is either looking at the Sun or pointing a camera toward the Sun.

Seeing as how the Sun can cause visual distortion in both Humans and machines such as still-frame cameras and motion capture cameras, it seems a bit ridiculous to point a camera at the Sun and be amazed to see a blotch in the film and then text somebody going "O-M-G! It's Nibiru!!" or what ever name they have bestowed upon the phenomenon.

I see the Sun, everyday, I have yet to see this "Orange Ball of Doom!!!", it seems to be odd that something that's being "seen all over the world" is seemingly avoiding the sight of everyday citizens, no one that I know has seen it, I haven't seen it, my neighbors child hasn't seen it and he stares at the Sun all day and drools on himself. (No, he's not mentally handicapped he's just easily attracted to shiny objects)

As a friend of mine once said— Stare at the Sun too long and you will see a strange colored UFO, take a picture of the Sun and you will probably see something that's even more unexplainable, until of course you find out that it was caused by distortion in the lenses.
