If I'm correct, then that answer is simple: Your awareness has been taken to a slightly higher level, possibly due to the 2012 rumors.

It's commonplace for an individual to notice more in their surroundings after they've become frightened by something to do with their surroundings, and in this case, the rumors of 2012 is everywhere, including your surrounding, so possibly subconsciously, you're searching for signs of something that's coming and rather than observing those signs, you're observing normal, commonplace events that you hadn't noticed before.

I have heard birds sing at night. Usually, it seems to be when there are lights on near their nesting place. I always figured that they thought it was morning because of the lights. I've never looked into it, that is just what I've noticed.

I live on the East coast of the UK and for the past 5 or 6 weeks I have noticed the birds singing about 3am sometimes 4am I most tell you I have never noticed this before and I am a true night owl as I am lucky if I am in bed before 6am on a daily basis, was wondering if you had any idea why this is happening?

I have been reading around and it seems it be happening in other places around the UK though some people say its always been happening where they are, of course there are people out there saying its to do with earthquakes and stuff I tend to just skip past that though. are people in the states or anywhere else noticed this?
