I'm glad we've been able to help you with your 2012 fears.
The stuff about underground shelters in Denver for the elite is just more nonsense. There aren't any shelters to "let the elite survive." Most of them have the good sense to not be fooled by ridiculous hoaxes. They can check with scientists and learn that it's all nonsense. Even if people were building underground shelters, it wouldn't frighten me because I know the 2012 hoax is all smoke and mirrors. If you have read our pages listed on the left, you should know that none of the crackpot claims are true. Those that can actually happen are things that happen routinely and have no effect on us.
You say you are frightened that the government is hiding things from us. Which government would that be, of the 195 governments around the globe, who don't go along with the US government on much of anything. Most of the astronomers and other scientists are not employed by governments. There are many thousands of them, both professional and amateur. I should mention here that amateur doesn't mean you don't have the education for the field, it only means that you aren't getting paid to do it, like amateur and professional ball players. If there were anything coming, it couldn't be kept quiet. The astronomers would be all over it.

Governments do hide stuff, this is something we cannot deny. But it can never be at such a massive scale like the 2012 hoaxers claim.
The number of amateur astronomers out there are massive.

Also building an underground shelter for the disasters the 2012 hoaxers claim, is useless. yes some people might get scared of the big bad 2012 and order a bunker under their house just like they did in the 1960's. There is big money to get from builders that promote 2012 just to sell a bunker.

Also regarding the elite. Would you really want to be part of an elite sitting there in a bunker and when you get out you actually have to do the dirty work for yourself and start building your own house, do your own farming for food? No more servants and house builders and farmers. I don't think that the elite would want to be in a bunker when this happens.

What can be is that the government do build shelters at secret locations from strategic point of view to protect the president in case there is a terrorist attack. Shelters might be built but has no relationship with 2012 whatsoever.

Hi. I have been a reader of this site for a few months now and it certainly has eased some of my fears but I am really scared about the government hiding this from us. I keep hearing about the Denver underground shelters and "let the elite survive" theories and all that and the Georgia Guidestones and it's really got me scared. Plus with all the natural disasters….I just don't want to be scared anymore :(

I really wish it was so easy not to worry about these type of things, but once your mind set is in a bad state its really hard to get yourself out of and you find yourself connecting everything with the most horrible situations you can imagine :(

Earthquakes scare me I am not ashamed to admit that, are they on the increase no I don't think so I just think that the web and the newspapers plus news networks take great pleasure in feeding trolls and also inhansing fears of people.

However like many times before I could be completely wrong ;) but I don't thin I am :P

Hi Hannah,
No, there is nothing to worry about unless you live on or near a large fault. The epicenter of the New Zealand quake was only three miles from Christchurch. That's why there was so much damage there, even though it was only a magnitude 6.3 quake.
You are just noticing them more because you're worried and you think that earthquakes can somehow be connected to the 2012 nonsense. I remember several earthquakes far more powerful than this one.
There is a listing of the most powerful earthquakes in history at this page. Take a look at the dates and magnitudes. I know that many people think Wikipedia isn't a reliable source, but this is the most concise list I ran across and the data can be easily verified. They give their sources.

The most powerful was a 9.5 in Chile in 1960. The deadliest was in China in 1556. The third deadliest was in Turkey in 525 AD.

Me being frightened is mainly my own fault, I don't do any research into these things because as soon as I do I start to stumble across woo sites and scare the hell out of myself, so I tend to avoid anything but this site all together.

And I don't watch the news that often, so all I can think is, floods earthquakes, and everything I've seen recently and I panic.

No. Remember the San Francisco earthquake in 1906? The world didn't end after that earthquake. Some years ago we started to report more earthquakes than in 100 years ago. Add this to the urbanization and you have at least one big earthquake reported every week.

Hello again, not been on here for the past couple of weeks as I've all but stopped thinking abiout 2012 nonsense.

However the New Zealand earthquake has set me off again unfortunately, it seems there have been an awful lot of natural disasters recently?

Have I anything to worry about or am I just noticing them more because of my current state of mind?
